The

College Basketball Sims

Why do all college basketball games have such horrendous simulation engines?  Is it really so difficult to make blue chip programs remain blue chips over an extended period of time?

I’m ten years into a dynasty in NCAA Basketball 09 for the 360 and Austin Peay just won a barn-burner of a championship over Montana.

Seriously?  Did they even test this?

I think you may be a bit hyper-critical here. Think of all the combinations of wins and losses (or even scores) that are possible throughout a college basketball season. Any one realization has an almost infinitesimally small probability of occurring, including the actual realization that happened in real life.

Montana got pretty far last year, if I recall correctly.

    Is Austin Peay your team?
